Volcan Poas, Costa Rica

This was another one of those days when the wether helped me out a lot. Down in the valley where I was staying it was raining pretty hard. Since this is one of the volcanoes in Costa Rica that is very difficult to see because of the fog and cloud cover, I thought my chances were slim. It was a nice surprise when we drove thru the clouds to find pretty blue sky and a clear view of this now awaken volcano. It has been dormant for a while, but recently there has been some activity including a change in the acidity of the water which also changed its color from blue/green to white.
