Thor's Well is another iconic location on the Oregon Coast. It's a unique feature that comes alive with high tide as the waves come in and fill then drain the “well”. This is a challenging feature to photograph given its location and changing conditions. This day, I wasn't even going to go to take pictures because of the heavy rain, then I changed my mind and went anyway. Wishing I had an umbrella over my tripod and camera, I was still able to photograph Thor's Well on a stormy day. A perfect representation of the God of Thunder, minus the lighting.
