A small flock of pelicans flying in a V formation. I learned that it wasn't until 2001 when Henri Weimerskirch fitted pelicans with hart rate monitors and leaned that the birds on the back of the V had slower heart rates than those in the front and flapped less often. Makes me wonder if the pelicans know how it works of if they even care...
