The famous Sea Lions of the Oregon coast. Most of these Steller sea lions call this area just a few miles north of Florence their year-round residence in this sea cave. I've heard that some of the big male bulls find their way down here all the way from Alaska at breeding season, but I'd had to see it first.
Privately owned the "Sea Lion Caves" a part of the Oregon/Cape Perpetua Marine Reserve helping protect the local marine animals and marine environment.
