Camping at Diamond Lake, Oregon one summer, I got up early to try to get a sunrise picture with Mt. Thielsen. I was hoping for some clouds to pick up the color of the sun but it was a clear sky. Getting creative, I laid down among the wildflowers and the grass as the sun crept over the top of mountain to get a foreground frame and ad some color to the scene.
