Crater Lake is one of my all time favorite places. I have several photos of this beautiful blue lake, and this is one of my favorites. Most people who go to Crater Lake frequently know that it is rare to get a picture of the lake with calm water. Usually there is a strong wind that whips up the surface in a dance of constant movement. To have the surface so reflective with afternoon light casting a soft glow on the tree and top of Wizard Island is a testament to my good fortune this day.
